Is God really there?

Some people works for money, while others work for fame. And I wonder what is really worth working for. What is the main purpose of a person? What should be fulfilled in this short life on earth? Some people compare life like a play on stage, some call it as a journey towards eternity. Some believe in heaven and hell while some thinks that there is no life after death, while others believe in rebirth. Some believe in God while some believe in evolution.
However, if you stay quietly, listening to the instinct that God has embedded in the mind of every human being. There is no doubt everyone feels that there is a
creator, a difference between good or bad, and a supreme power that controls the universe. If a normal adult cannot admit to these facts, he is not fooling anyone but himself alone. You may bring tons of theories and witnesses to prove that there is no God or life after death, you may bring thousands of supporters to your view, but deep in your heart and conscience you will still feel that you are deceiving your own self. You are just trying to comfort yourself with the thing that you know is a lie. I remember people saying to their sick love ones that they are going to be alright even though they knew their love one is going to die.
At times, the truth is just so bitter, that lies are easily digested. There are things that cannot be concluded only based on statistics. Some truth that will never be altered. In certain time of history, the earth was considered flat, and those giving the theory of the round of spherical shape were murdered and tortured, but the truth still emerges.
Today's Christianity may have been polluted by many politicians and rulers, leading to different belief, but the core truth that Jesus is the son of God, a savior to the world will always be true. And He will return to earth as He said even if only 0.0001 percent believes in Him. The best thing that has ever happen in my life is having Jesus Christ.
