Prayer for World

Dear God, Thank you for the love you have shown to us with the uncountable blessings we receive every day. Thank you for the Earth you have given us to live in. Thank you for the fresh air around us. Lord, I thank you and praise you Name for the brain you have given to mankind to know more about your Majesty and Power. The way you designed mankind and the universe is amazing. Our knowledge is too small to understand and our power is too limited to control.

You can make the earth shake or firm, create or destroy. Who are we
to question your judgment and power? Yet, we turn away from you when we have your blessings. We forget to love our neighbors as you have loved us. We have filled our hearts with hatred when we are to love. We are selfish even though we know it is good to share with others. We have turned away from you, yet you call us every day. You wanted us to be your friends yet we treat you as our helper.

Dear God, we feel really bad for our brothers and sisters in pain. But we are glad because we know you are with all our brothers and sisters who have left us from this world. We are also grateful because you will show your grace and peace to those who call you from this world. We have all turned away from you, help us to come back to you. Make us realize that we are nothing without your protection. Teach us to love one another as you have loved us. Draw us close to you.

Father above, we also admit that no nation in this world is better than the nations that suffer to escape such calamities. We all deserved to be punished, but your grace is waiting for us to repent. Help other nations to see your power from what has befallen on the world. Be with the countries that suffer and answer their prayers. Amen.
